For the hotel Haus im Tal, the entrance area was completely reimagined to create a clearer spatial orientation and a stronger presence toward the street.
The staircase is wrapped in perforated corrugated aluminum, complemented by warm, individually dimmable light tubes that cast a soft, atmospheric glow. This interplay of tactile metal and warm illumination creates a distinctive visual tension that sets the tone for the space.
The redesigned entrance is now more visible and inviting from the outside, guiding visitors intuitively into the building. As guests step inside, the stairwell conveys the hotel’s progressive, design-driven identity — offering a first impression that is both bold and welcoming.
